Mountain Dew Cupcakes, thanks Novelstyle

These cupcakes all came about when I posted a link about Mountain Dew cupcakes on a friend’s Facebook page as her son loves Mountain Dew. One thing led to another and before I knew it my dear friend Ileana from NovelStyle showed up on my doorstep with a bottle of refreshing Mountain Dew. Her husband was in Germany at the time our Mountain Dew Facebook talk was going on and she managed to get him to bring back a few bottles of this thirst quenching summer drink. You see Mountain Dew is not available here in Austria and as a child I loved this fizzy lemony drink. So when Ileana handed me the bottle of Mountain Dew, I knew I had to live up to the challenge of baking Mountain Dew Cupcakes.

It’s funny how blogging can bring people together.

Late last year Ileana from NovelStyle was looking for cupcakes in Linz. You see Ileana had just moved to Linz from Argentina, she loves all things fashion and sweet treats. At the time, Linz had no cupcake bakery so she was on a mission to find cupcakes in Linz to satisfy her craving. She trawled the internet and soon enough she stumbled across little charmed me. NovelStyle has a fun sense of fashion just like her fun and cute sense of humour and I would recommend you check out her blog. After she received the Mountain Dew Cupcakes, she dedicated a cute fashion inspired post to the deliciously refreshing cupcakes I baked for her, check out the post here (I was told one died during production 😦 good luck to the floor).

I’m so glad you enjoyed them my dear friend, here’s to blogging friendships.
